Max Pain is the strike price at which option buyers lose the maximum money. It is the price where the total value of all options (both puts and calls) is minimized, representing the least pain for option sellers.

How to use OI analysis for trading?

Open Interest shows the total number of outstanding contracts. Rising price with rising OI confirms trend. Rising price with falling OI suggests short covering. Falling price with rising OI confirms bearish trend.
